About the Trip

This five-night journey pairs the dazzling city of Singapore with a relaxing resort stay on Sentosa, the island playground just offshore, with its beaches, attractions and laid-back resort vibe. It is city and beach in perfect balance.

You'll explore Singapore's heritage quarters, Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay, then cross to Sentosa to unwind at a beachfront resort, with Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, the cable car and the beaches all on your doorstep. Hawker feasts, light shows and island sunsets fill the days.

With a city hotel and a Sentosa resort, guided touring and the attractions arranged, it is the best of both worlds.

Good to Know
  • Arrival card: Every visitor must submit the free SG Arrival Card online within three days before arriving in Singapore — we will remind you. Many nationalities are visa-free for 30 to 90 days
  • Currency: The currency is the Singapore Dollar. Singapore is highly cashless — cards and contactless payment work almost everywhere, though a little cash is handy at some hawker stalls
  • Strict laws: Singapore is famously orderly, with fines for littering, jaywalking and eating or drinking on the MRT, no smoking outside designated areas, and extremely severe penalties for drugs. It keeps the city wonderfully clean and safe
  • Getting around: Singapore is compact, safe and superbly connected by a clean, efficient MRT metro; taxis and ride-hailing are easy, and everything is walkable and English-speaking
  • Weather: It is hot and humid year-round with sudden tropical downpours, so pack light, breathable clothes and carry a compact umbrella. The wettest months are November to January
  • Hawker food: Singapore's hawker centres offer some of the best and cheapest food in Asia, and are perfectly safe and hygienic — do not miss the chilli crab, chicken rice and laksa
  • Best time: Singapore is a year-round destination; it is slightly drier from February to April, and lively events include Chinese New Year, the Formula 1 night race in September and Christmas on Orchard Road
  • Tipping: Tipping is not customary or expected in Singapore, as a service charge is usually already included in bills
  • Connectivity & power: Wifi is excellent and free in many places, and a local SIM or eSIM is cheap. Power is 230V with the UK-style type G three-pin plug, so bring an adapter
  • Dress & respect: Dress is casual but neat; cover shoulders and knees when visiting temples and mosques in Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam
FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What meals are included?

Daily breakfast is included throughout, along with a welcome dinner and the specific meals named in the itinerary. Other meals are left free so you can dive into Singapore's incredible hawker centres and restaurants.

Are transfers and touring arranged?

Yes — your airport transfers, attraction tickets and guided tours are arranged for you, and Singapore is wonderfully easy to explore on your own by MRT in between.

Do I need a visa for Singapore?

Many nationalities are visa-free for 30 to 90 days. Everyone must submit the free SG Arrival Card online before arriving, which we will remind you to do.

When is the best time to visit?

Singapore is a great year-round destination. It is slightly drier from February to April, while November to January is the wettest, though rain usually comes in short, heavy bursts.

Is Singapore family-friendly?

Extremely — it is one of the safest, cleanest and most family-friendly cities in the world, with Universal Studios, the zoo, Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa all delighting children.

Can the itinerary be customised?

Absolutely. Durations, hotels and attractions can all be tailored, and we can add Sentosa, the zoo, a nearby island beach, or Malaysia and Bali. Just tell us what you have in mind.

How do we get around Singapore?

Singapore's MRT metro is clean, cheap and covers the whole city, and taxis and ride-hailing are easy. Our tours include transfers, and getting around independently is a breeze.

What is Sentosa Island like?

Sentosa is Singapore's resort island, a short bridge or cable car from the city, with beaches, resorts, Universal Studios, the aquarium and family attractions — a relaxed island playground right beside the metropolis.

Is Sentosa good for a beach stay?

Its beaches are man-made but pleasant and family-friendly, and the resorts are excellent. For a more natural beach, we can add a nearby island such as Bintan.
