- Best time to visit: November to March is ideal, with warm, sunny, comfortable days perfect for the city, desert and coast; summer (May to September) is very hot and humid, best enjoyed via air-conditioned attractions, malls and indoor experiences, though spring and autumn shoulder months are pleasant

Yes, though the 4x4 'dune bashing' is exhilarating (and can be thrilling), it is run by expert drivers and can be tailored to your taste, gentler or more adventurous. The desert day also includes camel rides, the beautiful Inland Sea, and Arabian hospitality at a desert camp, enjoyable for all ages. We can adjust the intensity, and those who prefer a calmer experience can enjoy the scenery, camels and camp without the fastest driving.
